Tackle Hunger at the Souper Bowl of Caring, Feb. 5

More than 25 years ago, the Souper Bowl of Caring began with a simple prayer from a single youth group that the members would be mindful of those who were hungry on Super Bowl Sunday. Since then, more than $125 million has souper-bowl-2017-header-horizontalbeen raised for local charities across the country on Super Bowl Sunday. It has become a powerful movement that is transforming the time around the Big Game into one of the nation’s largest celebrations of giving and serving.

Action Ministries is taking part in the Souper Bowl of Caring again in 2017! This giving opportunity allows us to make a positive difference in the world, right in our own neighborhoods, as our Life-Changers collect food, raise money and volunteer to work in charities to provide shelter to the homeless, food to the hungry and compassion to those in need. Will you join us on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, to make a positive difference to people in need?

How you can tackle hunger on Feb. 5:

Fill A Soup Pot

Inspire your coworkers and friends to fill a soup pot with $500 in cash donations in your office or at your Super Bowl party to provide long-term hunger relief to a child in need.

Make your donation here and designate what region to support (NE, NW, Piedmont, Metro or Mountain).

Collect From Your Congregation

Motivate your congregation to take up a Souper Sunday collection on the Sunday prior to the Super Bowl, Jan. 29, to feed the hungry in our community. Collect $1,000 to provide 2,000 meals for hungry families!

Make your donation here and designate what region to support (NE, NW, Piedmont, Metro or Mountain).

Life is full of reasons to celebrate.

This year, “Change the Game” by tackling hunger in your community, and make this Super Bowl one to remember!
