Kathleen Bradley believes no one should be homeless.
“It’s not that they deserve it (more) than others, but we need to pay attention to the veterans that have fought for our freedom,” said Bradley, a case manager for Action Ministries, which helps people transition from homelessness to housing. The agency serves several counties including Whitfield.
Bradley was one of the nearly dozen volunteers collecting surveys at the 2016 Homeless Veterans Registry in Whitfield County last month, reported the Daily Citizen (Dalton) today.
The registry was sponsored by the Dalton-Whitfield Community Development Corp. and the Dalton-Whitfield Housing Stability Coalition, organizations that assist people with housing concerns.
