Free GED Prep Classes Set to Start in Covington, Porterdale in April

ged-classesNeed your GED? Adult Basic Education/GED preparation classes are set to start in the Action Ministries Piedmont region in April. Volunteer tutors are available to assist students and prepare them to take the GED test.

Action Ministries mobilizes communities to address the challenges of poverty by focusing on hunger relief, housing and education. Education is an important component in breaking the cycle of poverty.

Classes are free, and students may start at any point by registering by calling 770-786-0807 or sending an email to nccp@bellsouth.net.


When? Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 – 2:30 p.m., beginning April 17

Where? At Covington First United Methodist Church, 1113 Conyers Street SW, Covington.

 

When? Mondays and Thursdays, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., beginning April 17

Where? At Pathway Community Church, 33 North Broad Street, Porterdale.
