Donna Douglas, Database and Research Manager
A native of England, Donna brings more than 15 years of experience in donor relations, data management and analysis to her position at Action Ministries. Donna came to Atlanta after 10 years in Westchester County, New York, where she worked with Mercy College and the American Red Cross. Previously, Donna worked for the Atlanta Women’s Foundation, where she raised funds to provide life-changing programs and services to disadvantaged women and girls. Joining Action Ministries was a natural transition, as its mission aligned perfectly with her passions and volunteer activities. Helping those in need has been a way of life for Donna and her family. When she was growing up, there was always a place set at the table for unexpected guests. Even today, her home is like a halfway house for young people dealing with life’s challenges. She currently tutors GED candidates at New Life Community Center and is a member of the PATH program planning and administrative team. She is a member of New Life Church in Decatur, and her favorite pastimes include browsing estate sales, curiosity shops and consignment stores, walking the trails of Arabia Mountain, and crossing items off her bucket list.
